Why Ego-centric Task Video?

The bottleneck in embodied AI is data — and the data robots need doesn't exist on the internet.

Ego-centric video might seem like ordinary footage, but it's the closest thing robots have to learning from a human body — recorded in the wild, across thousands of different homes.

Q1. Will my personal identity or home information be exposed?

Absolutely not. We only focus on the physical state of household environments and task activities. We explicitly ask you to exclude people, faces, screens, or sensitive items (like mail, documents, or family photos) from your shots.

All shared data is strictly anonymized, and your personal identity is never attached to your contributions.

Q2. What if my photo accidentally captures private or sensitive objects?

Our app gives you full control before uploading. If your photo or video contains unintended sensitive elements, we recommend retaking it. In addition, our backend runs privacy-protection algorithms that automatically detect and blur faces or other identifiable content to ensure your privacy is protected.

Q3. How is my data stored and who can access it?

Your data is encrypted and stored in compliance with the local storage and data protection requirements of your region. Only authorized training pipelines can access anonymized samples.

Q4. Will the data be used only by Robotin, or also by other developers?

Robotin is a data network, not a data silo. Qualified embodied AI developers and robotics companies can access anonymized datasets through the network — that's the point. More consumers accessing the data means more network utility, which feeds back into contributor rewards and token value.

We also use the data to develop our own embodied intelligence capabilities. Any external access is strictly anonymized and compliance-protected. This is how a DePIN network creates value:

  • Your contribution supports the wider robotics ecosystem.
  • More developers using the dataset increases overall utility and network value.
  • Any data shared externally is strictly anonymized and compliance-protected.

In short: your data helps build better robots, handled with full transparency and compliance at every step.

Q5. What do you do with fake, repeated, or AI-generated photos?

These are automatically filtered out. Submitting such data may reduce contributor level or reward eligibility.
