Terms of service

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Robotin Network app and platform. By using the app, you agree to these Terms, which form a binding agreement between you and Robotin. Your use of our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

1. Welcome to Robotin Network

Robotin Network is a community-powered data contribution platform. By using our app, you're helping build the training data that teaches robots to navigate and understand real home environments — contributing to a future where robotics can genuinely help people in their daily lives.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Robotin Inc., registered at 10 Corporate Park Ste 330, Irvine, CA 92606 ("Robotin", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Robotin app or any related services ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your own name.

2. What Robotin Network Does

The Platform allows you to contribute image data collected from your home environment using your mobile device. In return, you earn Contribution Points and Activity Points ("Rewards") based on the quality and quantity of your accepted contributions.

Your contributions are used to build training datasets for robotic AI systems, including embodied intelligence models designed to understand and interact with real-world home environments. By contributing, you are an active participant in advancing this technology.

Rewards you accumulate on the Platform will be redeemable for on-chain tokens in a future release. The specific token, blockchain network, and redemption mechanics will be announced before launch. Until then, Rewards remain as points within the Platform.

3. Creating Your Account

To use the Platform, you must register and create an account by providing your email address and setting a password. You may optionally add a username and profile photo.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information;
• Keeping your login credentials confidential;
• All activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

4. Contributing Data

When you submit data through the Platform, you grant Robotin an exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, store, process, distribute, sublicense, and commercialize your submitted data — including but not limited to images, video, sensor recordings, scene annotations, object interaction recordings, and any associated metadata or annotations — for any purpose, including AI training, dataset construction, and related commercial applications. This license is granted in exchange for the Rewards described in Section 5.

By submitting images, you confirm that:

• You have the right to photograph and submit the depicted environment;
• You have ensured that any other individuals visible in the images have consented, or that their identity has been sufficiently obscured;
• The content does not violate any applicable law.

To protect the privacy of individuals who may appear in submitted content, Robotin automatically detects and blurs facial regions before storing any image or video. Original unblurred content is never retained.

5. Rewards

Robotin operates a two-tier Rewards system:

• Activity Points — earned through completed tasks, daily participation, and achievements;
• Contribution Points — earned through referral milestones and special contributor programs.

Points are tracked within the Platform and displayed in your account. Rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable between accounts.

On-chain token redemption will be supported in a future release. When available, you will be able to link a wallet address through the Robotin web portal and receive settled tokens directly on-chain. Robotin does not custody tokens on your behalf at any stage of this process.

Robotin reserves the right to adjust Reward values, earning rates, and redemption mechanics at any time, with reasonable notice provided to users.

6. Wallet Linking

To receive on-chain reward settlements, you will be able to link a wallet address to your account through the Robotin web portal. Wallet addresses are managed through the web portal rather than in-app to ensure you have the best environment to carefully verify your address — reward settlements cannot be redirected once processed on-chain.

Once linked, your wallet address is displayed in the app for your reference. Robotin does not access, control, or custody your wallet or any digital assets within it. Your private keys and seed phrase never leave your device.

You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, including safeguarding your seed phrase and private keys. Robotin is not liable for any loss resulting from wallet mismanagement, phishing, or unauthorized access to your wallet credentials.

7. Your Obligations

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Use the Platform only for its intended purpose of genuine data contribution;
• Submit only images that you have the right to capture and share;
• Provide accurate annotations and descriptions;
• Not attempt to manipulate quality scoring or reward calculations.

You agree not to:

• Submit fabricated, AI-generated, or recycled content;
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform;
• Attempt to access, probe, or exploit the Platform's infrastructure;
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or earn additional rewards;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or backend systems;
• Harvest other users' data or contact information;
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws.

8. Regional Availability

The Platform is not intended for use in Mainland China, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, Russia, Belarus, Syria, or Ukraine. Users in these jurisdictions access the Platform at their own risk and are solely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. Robotin makes no representations that the Platform is appropriate or available in these locations.

9. Content Review and Account Actions

Robotin reviews submitted content for quality, authenticity, and compliance with these Terms. Submissions that fail quality checks, appear AI-generated, contain inappropriate content, or otherwise violate these Terms will be rejected and will not earn Rewards.

Robotin reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:

• Repeatedly violate these Terms;
• Engage in fraudulent or manipulative behavior;
• Are associated with suspected cheating or abuse;
• Remain inactive for an extended period (you will be notified before termination).

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time through the account settings in the app. Upon closure, your access to the Platform will end. Accumulated Rewards that have not been redeemed at the time of account closure will be forfeited.

Robotin may terminate this agreement with 4 weeks' notice for any reason, or immediately in cases of material breach of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All technology, design, branding, and content produced by Robotin — including the app, platform, logos, and trademarks — remains the exclusive property of Robotin. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

You may not use Robotin's brand, name, or visual identity in any context without prior written consent.

12. Privacy and Data

Robotin collects the information you provide during registration (email, username, optional profile photo) and data generated through your use of the Platform (device identifiers, submitted images, annotations, activity history).

At the time of each submission, Robotin derives approximate geographic location (country and city level) from your IP address for internal analytics. Your IP address itself is not stored.

13. Limitation of Liability

Robotin provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure availability and reliability, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robotin's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to direct damages foreseeable at the time of the relevant event. Robotin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits Robotin's liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

Robotin may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the app or by email. If you continue using the Platform after the effective date of the updated Terms, you are considered to have accepted the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.

15. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of the Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the other provisions will remain in full force and effect. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without Robotin's prior written consent. Robotin may freely assign or transfer the Agreement without restriction.

Robotin's failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the seat of arbitration in San Francisco, California. The language of arbitration shall be English. The fees and expenses of the arbitration tribunal shall be determined by mutual agreement between the parties.
